The song 'I was only nineteen' is set in the Vietnam War. It follows the path of a nineteen year old boy and what he experiences during the fight in war. It shows how small things can remind him of the awful time in Vietnam, and it will always follow him through life. 'I was only nineteen' tells the listener what horrific things he saw, and that he should not ahve experienced that.

Term 1

During term 1, we have been studying the movie the Power of One. This movie has a strong message of unity, and throughout the movie, one boy wants to try and change the life of the Africans. This movie shows lots of emotion, and battle on how the Africans struggled to live peacefully and equally, with poor hygiene and health climbing behind them.
